Gosh huijuan just told me she met Alex Teo in NY who asked her whether i'm anorexic. Apparently, he asked quite a few of our classmates from sec2-4, when he was teaching us Higher Chinese, abt it. I was like o.O Did i look that skinny in nanyang? Plus i think i lost more weight in hc. No one ever told me i look anorexic in hc. LOL. And i love to eat lah siao, how can i ever resist all the nice food xD i'm quite amused.

ytd i dropped my keys into the DRAIN near my house. omg. and it wasn't the little drains at the side of the road, it was the BIG drains that run underground with the big square drain covers! but obviously i had to retrieve it cause i had my precious keys AND keychain there. so i lifted up that disgusting dirty and SUPER HEAVY drain cover...and asked this random guy at the light shop near the drain for a hook or sth to fish up my keys >< but then he failed to hook it up so he jumped down into the drain and picked it up for me.

haha i guess one of the advantages of being a girl (besides not having to go through NS) is that no one rly expects you to jump into a deep drain and pick up sth. dexter said i should have bought a light bulb from that guy to thank him xD

uni applications really suck big time. i hope tonight's dinner cheers me up ):

pfft I have an 0ff day from work today and instead of lazing around, i just spent my entire afternoon going through math. I don't think I have ever studied as hard for my own math papers. That said, I can't really complain since I chose to do this and am paid to do so. It is just damn sian that I still have so much to do... 1 more stack of worksheets to go through, compilation of answers and notes... and that is just A' math! There is still E' math and BIO!! And my own uni and scholarship applications...need to complete all these before I go off for surgery in Apr..

btw I am thinking of reviving my own blog just that I am having troubles with changing my blogskin! can someone help??

School has started for a week now. And it feels weird to be out on a school day, not wearing school uniform, nor worrying about homework/tutorials/cca.

I was on the bus just now, and overheard 2 girls, most probably sec1s, discussing about which cca to join. I felt relieved, because I know I will never share their worries ever again, but immediately after that that sense of relief was tinged with a pang of nolstagia. I miss dance. Yes we started our dance pracs again but the feeling is different. My school uniform is still hanging in my closet, though I doubt i'd ever wear them again. No more lectures/tutorials and complaining about horrible canteen food. I even miss having to wake up early in the morning and going to school for flagraising and singing the school song.

6 years of pre-university education flew past in a blink of an eye, and now we are all waiting, for the D-day. In the mean time, there're so many things I want to do and to try. Somehow people consider me as an adult right after the new year and that is mostly due to the expiration of the student concession card. But there're other things as well, like suddenly I have to make all the decisions and start to take care of my parents. Suddenly everything is up to me, what to study, what I want out of my life. Yes these questions aren't new, but before that the answers have always been limited by either school or parents. Now the possibility seems immense, limitless. Every decision and action would be mine. Feels quite intimidating, but I guess I have to get used to this newly gained authority and responsibility.

finally finally watched the time traveler's wife, with jiayee! <3
haha we both cried towards the end of the show, especially me! the movie's a little different from the book, plot is much more simplified and condensed. But yeah, i still liked it (: And both jiayee and I are in love with Alba! She's so cute and adorable, and looks like a doll! (((:

At this point of time, I really don't know what I want to do with my life anymore. No motivation or desire to even think and ponder about it. Right now, it is just about putting in my best and getting A'levels done and over with. Hopefully, a miracle can happen and solve the problem that has been bugging me this entire year..haii

Anw.. ytd's class outing was super fun.. played Wii for the first time ever (super lag i know) and realised i have a hidden talent for playing Wii bowling hahahah (: after that we had this really fun truth or dare session..got to know my classmates better.. it was really one of the best class outing ever.. thanks 75 (:

just saw the Harry Potter trailer and got reminded of how long i haven't been crazy over it. But that said Half Blood Prince is my least fav HP book of all 7. Still, i'm looking forward to watching the movie! (((:

everyone has their own commitments that aren't questioned, but my commitment seems to be the least justified compared to the others'; though i don't exactly know why. i can't help feeling that it's unfair, but still i end up feeling guilty most of the time. i'm equally tired sometimes, but that never seems to be justified either. i don't really know the reasons behind my responsibilities or why i'm taking them, but i do them anyway because it seems like the right thing. i find it very difficult to tolerate someone whom i have absolutely no respect for as a person, and i'm ashamed of the fact that i can be affected despite the fact that we don't have to face each other. i feel like i'm losing touch too, but what am i supposed to do to stop it when it's not my fault alone?

everyone's priorities have obviously changed. so why is that when my priorities change, i feel like i'm to blame?

GOLD WITH HONOURS! yes all our hard work paid off.
but immediately thereafter i'm reminded of alot of other things that i neglected for the past 3 weeks.
Over the years i learnt to let go of a lot of things, yet now i found myself again unable to forget and naively thinking that certains things will just work out in the end but they actually would not. Let go let go.
Too busy to think about the many problems i have but sometimes they just come crushing down on me. BOO. feeling very low for the past 2 days. Hope it'll pass soon.

haha haven't blog in ages.. and guess what i have the sudden urge to write about 2008 reflections and 2009 resolutions.. haha how lag can i get o.O

haha 2008 has really been an eventful year.. i have learnt alot, and know who and what are the most impt to me..it has been fun and happy.. but yet tiring and frustrating at times too...i guess trying to sum up 2008 in a post is really kinda impossible..

Still I'm looking forward to all the activities in school. Sabbatical next tuesday! YAY we haven't been dancing together for so long u poos!
and then I'll be going to Germany! ((((((: Super looking forward to the trip since I haven't been back for more than 7 years. And above all, I can see my dad! (: ich vermisse Deutschland. And the people and the food and just the feel of being there. I'm going back to Lennebergplatz to see my best friend Kira! and my old house. The people going on the trip are also all very nice (: i think we'll have lots of fun with wuyang singing and meeting jan patrick emmel again xD this will be the second overseas trip this year i'm going on with chanxiwen! :D Wir werden Spass haben!

And then back to reality. Life's not getting easier, our J1 year is almost over! ):

hey u poos,

it's been quite >< and T.T recently..

with so many crappy things happening it's hard not to be affected. At least in my case. And i think for u poos it's the same rite.

As the term draws to an end, we're starting to reflect on what has happened all this while. I'm quite appalled to find that it's already (almost) september, and that everything has hapened so fast that I'm left to wonder what exactly has happened in the past 9 months.

Too many things happening in such a short period of time. I miss the peaceful days when i can go for a walk with my parents along the canal near my house or when i can simply sit down with a good book to read. JC life is fun and exciting, but gone with it is the inner peace and calmness I used to have. Life is not just about busying yourself with all sorts of stuff. It's never ending.

And in times like this, complaining only serves one purpose, which is to make myself feel better xD So after all the ranting and raving abt everything, i still have to get down to work cos if i don't, I'll be running the risk of losing my scholarship which would be the end of the world for me.

haven't blogged in agesssssssss.

obviously lots and lots and LOTS of stuff happened in the past few weeks...or months..or terms...haha this year seems to have passed wayyy too fast to keep track of stuff.

this year's honestly one with more than its fair share of ups and downs, smileeeeesss (: and regrets :(

ahh this is rly random, but i just realised today...so many things will come and go, and they all end up as just people and things that pass you by in time to come;

our blog is kinda dead. xD
well, cos everyone is so busy. such is life? jc life? sometimes i think about all the endless stuff that i have to do and just start wondering what i am doing and what i'm going to do. but looks like i'm not the only one who is tired and busy and just want to sleep. we're all talking about it after german one day and it made me feel better, at least everyone is tired. and i get quite 'motivated' by some of them who are so much busier than me and yet able to do all the work. hmm, so i should stop complaining.
and i'm reading a book by cecelia ahern: where rainbows end. It reminds me of some of the uncertainties in my life as well. such books are nice and made me think alot about my own life but i think i should stop thinking and just start on all my tutorials. besides, what's the use of thinking about something that u have no control of?
the last time we went out was with anna, but it wasn't the usual senile gang outing. hopefully we can have one soon (: miss talking to you poos. everytime i see heiyi and jiayee in the morning you two will be busy mugging or i have dance prac so can't really talk to u all. heiyi's going to bintan! lucky poo!

haha it is finally the end to 2 horribly busy weeks... first it was because of interact install and then rushing out of tickets and last minute details for the uk band booth

well i am glad everything is well and more or less settled..

really have to thank all my bffs for supporting me during these 2 weeks.. i know it was just as bad for u guys as it was for me...

csb!- thanks for being so understanding.. even when i was being so dao on msn and slow in replying ur sms.. for not being able to be there when smth rather major happened to u during this period of time.. thanks for just being such a good friend and there whenever i needed to complain abt stuff... well i am glad we had a good nice chat last night.. felt like i haven't talked to u properly in ages even though it was only 2 weeks...

pohting- thanks for helping me with sch work.. so tt i dun lag behind.. and for econ ilp and chem clock.. wouldn't know how i would have survive those 2 weeks wo ur help.. and also for keeping me awake during lessons and lectures XD n thanks for the listening ear too!! haha my fellow shelfmaster... we think alike smth (:

well things seem to be getting back to familiar grounds.. well ya all the extra activities do make life more interesting.. and i did learn quite alot of stuff too.. but smth being back to familiar grounds just give u a sense of belonging.. a time to recharge and reenergise (:
